Volvo Sales Executive Required

Bells Motor Group is one of the areas longest privately owned motor dealerships having represented Volvo for over 50 years. We are looking to recruit two professional Sales Executives at our Volvo dealership in Northampton.

Main Purpose of the Job:

  • To achieve agreed sales targets for new and used cars, accessories etc.
  • To contribute to the development of plans, policies and procedures as required to ensure the achievement of all sales tasks smoothly and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • To continually develop and use Kompass to create additional sales opportunities for repeat or new business
  • Furthermore, to contribute to achievement of maximum customer retention through the above. Ensuring all inputs are both accurate and timely.
  • Operate a planned daily, weekly and monthly customer contact programme, as agreed with the Sales Manager.
  • Develop and maintain full knowledge of all major products, accessories, prices and key features of major competitors.
  • Handle all customer queries and complaints and ensure they are resolved to achieve customer and company requirements. Advise Sales Manager where necessary and ensure appropriate action is taken in a timely manner.
  • Maintain adequate records of all sales activities and personal expenses. Ensure the completion of all sale and financial paperwork accurately and in a timely manner to ensure that the completion of sale in a satisfactory manner. Submit all information as necessary.
  • Carry out accurate appraisals of all vehicles presented for part exchange, using a systematic appraisal record, including mechanical, electrical and all cosmetic features. Agree valuations with the Sales Manager and complete satisfactory negotiations with potential customers to maximise sales.
  • Maintain all demonstrators supplied for personal use in clean and tidy condition at all times, suitable for their use as Customer Demonstration cars. Take the utmost care of company property at all times.
  • Take part fully in all and any on or off site promotions which may from time to time be generated.
  • Participate fully in the Volvo Cars Performance Academy (VCPA) completing a personal development plan and undertaking training as necessary.
  • Undertake all ITC training and complete all assessments.
  • Actively promote and sell Volvo parts and accessories.
  • Be prepared to undertake agreed hours to suit the business.

Corporate identity must be maintained at all times including:-

  • Wearing of Volvo or Bells corporate career wear.
  • Be continually and consistently conscious of Customer Satisfaction providing at all times the highest level of courtesy and service and actively seeking to improve the CEM rating.
  • Be prepared to collect and deliver customer cars as required.
  • Sales area must be kept clean and presentable at all times and compliance with Health and Safety requirements.
  • To always follow the company procedures and systems in accordance with Volvo Standards.
