The Kia Venga is a unique mini-MPV that’s compact yet offers a generous amount of cabin space. It’s as capable as it is stylish – unsurprisingly, this popular model has won a raft of industry awards.
From swept-back headlights to the rear spoiler, the Venga has an athletic and enthusiastic style. It’s based on the Kia Soul crossover, giving it a more dominant look than the average supermini. Black pillars and bumper inserts offer a smart contrast against any of the six available body colours.
The interior design uses black and silver details to create a premium look that both private and business motorists will appreciate. Passengers in the rear enjoy armrests and a high level of flexibility: their seats slide, recline, dive or can be folded down completely.
At higher specification levels, a Bluetooth hands-free connection and seven-inch touchscreen with satellite navigation are incorporated.
To keep the supermini running reliably on any length of journey, Kia provides a selection of petrol and diesel engines at 1.4 and 1.6-litre capacities. Acceleration to 60mph from a standstill never takes more than 14 seconds, and CO2 emissions are low enough to meet EURO 5 standards.
The Venga’s 1.3-tonne braked towing weight limit also belies its compact size, adding to the potential 1,253 litres of interior space for larger loads.
The Venga joins the majority of Kia models in achieving a five-star rating from EuroNCAP. It’s been built to include layers of safety: side impact protection, airbags, responsive seatbelts and headrests. Driver support systems are also comprehensive, encompassing Vehicle Stability Management, braking and traction assistance, and hill start controls.
