Thanks to the Electric-Global Modular Platform and the large battery, the EV6 GT can work as a portable power supply for your daily life and days out. The Vehicle-to-Device (V2D) function supplies up to 3.6kW of electricity, and it can power your camping needs, movie projector and even charge other electric vehicles.
Charge the battery from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes. With the Kia EV6 GT's multi-charging system, you can use both 800 V high-speed charging and the more mainstream 400 V fast charging. With 400 V charging, the EV6 GT will smoothly use the electric motor and inverter to convert the 400 V current from the charger into 800 V. All this happens smoothly and intuitively for the optimum charging speed.
The contrast between the longer wheelbase, shorter front and rear overhangs and larger wheels allowed Kia's designers to introduce a more unique and modern design for the Kia EV6 GT.
Designed for improvement
The E-GMP is engineered to offer improved cornering performance and driving stability at high speed. This is made possible through the weight distribution between front and rear, a lower centre of gravity and lower position, as well as electrical motors in the space where the engine was previously located.
The high-speed electric motors enhance the performance of the EV6 GT. Plus, both handling stability and ride comfort are optimised by the five-link suspension system and the world's first mass-produced integrated drive axle (IDA).
The Kia EV6 GT uses our latest new-generation 77.4 kWh long-range battery pack with 800V fast-charging capabilities meaning you can charge from 10% to 80% in a staggering 18 minutes 2 and when fully charged, you can look forward to up to 263 mile 3 driving range.

1 In order to achieve the maximum charging speed, EV6 must use an 800 volt electric vehicle charger that delivers at least 240kW of electricity. Actual charging speed & charging time may be influenced by the battery temperature and exterior weather conditions.
2 The range was determined according to the standardized EU measurement procedure (WLTP) based on 77.4kWh battery pack, rear wheel drive, and 19” wheels (pictured vehicle features 20” wheels). The individual driving style and other factors, such as speed, outside temperature, topography and the use of electricity-consuming devices/units, have an influence on the real life range and can possibly reduce it.
3 Kia high voltage lithium ion battery-units in electric vehicles (EV), hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) are built to have a long life. These batteries are covered by the KIA warranty for a period of 7 years from initial registration or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. For low voltage batteries (48V and 12V) in mild-hybrid electric vehicles (MHEV), the Kia warranty covers a period of 2 years from initial registration regardless of mileage. For EVs and PHEVs only, Kia guarantees a 70% capacity of the battery. Capacity reduction of the battery in HEV and MHEV is not covered by the warranty.
