Accounts Clerk / Support

Bells Motor Group are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk at our dual franchise dealership in Northampton. Bells Motor Group have represented Volvo in Northampton for over 50 years and continues to expand at a rapid rate due to continued success. We are looking to recruit a smart and motivated individual to work as an Accounts Clerk at our head office in Northampton.

Duties: Accounts Clerk/Support

To Include :

  • Full purchase ledger function including payments and statement reconciliation Matching, checking and coding invoices
  • Making payments via BACS and cheques
  • Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Daily use of Kerridge / CDK / Keyloop
  • Maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Data entry/Filing
  • Holiday Cover for our Sales Ledger function and Credit Control

  • Details:

    Ideally Full Time Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm with 1-hour lunch. However, Part Time Hours would be considered if hours was to suit our Business needs.

  • About the Candidate:

  • Minimum 1 year’s accounts experience
  • IT skills, especially with Excel
  • Experience with Kerridge / CDK / Keyloop would be advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Solid team working skills
